    Hello,
I have problem with the setting of this plugin: I insert the page ID but I don't see the comments.
On my Facebook fan page I have lots of comments, but the plugin give me this error:

Error: Cannot find a post linked to this blog on the last 10 posts of the Facebook wall. Check that at least one post on your wall links to a post of your blog.

I have lots of article published... any help?

I am having the same problem and there are hundreds of posts on my page that are direct links (not shortened through bit.ly etc). Any solution to this issue?

    Hi all,

After many month without coding on this project, I'm working on version 1.2 now.

Can you give me your facebook page IDs ? I'll try to understand your problems.

Hey thanks for doing this app.
It's a great idea but not working for me either.

It shows up on my dashboard that the comment has been made and the facebook users id comes up fine.
On my blog it says 1 comment
then underneath in <h1> title it says One Response to blah blah.
It just doesnt come up with the comment.

    Any ideas?
I am using the latest WP version

It is not the facebook ID for me it is the WP integration I think

    Thanks for taking a look

    Hi all,

I just posted the new 1.2 version.
Can you test and tell me if it works better for you ?

Lol, I just posted a thread that it doesn't work anymore, and 18 seconds later I see you post this :) Thanks for the fast replies Neoseifer22.

When I look at the settings of the plugin it says:
OK. The followink post on your wall is linked to your blog: "".

    So it looks "empty".

    I don't see 1.2 yet, I think I'll have to wait then :)

I have just updated to 2.1 and now it can see my Facebook Posts again. That's good. It's also seeing how much comments there are on each post.

But when I click on "Import Now" it says "Importation successful" and nothing is imported. It still says Imported to Blog - Not yet :(

Dikkevandale, can you give me :
    - the url of your blog
    - the url of your facebook page
    - if possible, a screenshot of the plugin settings page.

I'll have a look at your problem.

I'm still getting the same warning:
"Warning: Cannot find a post linked to this blog on the last 10 posts of the Facebook wall. Check that at least one of the last 10 posts on your wall links to a post of your blog."
I deactivated and reactivated the plugin - no effect.
I deactivated, deleted and reinstalled the plugin - no effect. I still have the warning.

I'll go ahead and answer your questions for Dikkevandale:

    URL of Blog: http://momentscount.com
    URL of FB Page: http://www.facebook.com/brookeleighsheldon
Link to Screenshot of Settings Page

momentscount, I check your Facebook page and there is a problem with it : It's a user profile that cannot be read by non-authenticated users.

Test it : Disconnect from Facebook (to be considered as a guest user, like the plugin), go to http://www.facebook.com/brookeleighsheldon then click on "wall". Facebook ask you to login.

This plugin cannot work if the wall and the comments are not public. And this behavior will never change, for confidentiality reasons.

Neoseifer22, my wall is public ;-)

The Facebook wall is and always has been open.

@momentscount: When you are not logged in to Facebook, you can't read your wall, just test it. So you should make it visible to everyone (check your privacy settings).

    @muratje, I don't understand why it doesn't work for you :-(
I'll make more tests tomorrow if I have some time.

Maybe I'll send you a special version of the plugin with debug options.

The privacy settings have an open wall set.
This is a personal profile not a "Page." Accessibility using your testing method above seems to be conditional upon the type of page. I tested the privacy settings putting EVERYTHING on "Everyone" settings and got the same results using your testing method above.

Working great for me, but I noticed when I clicked "Import Now," it takes several minutes to import, and while it's importing, the website freezes up and pages don't load.

correction, doesn't seem to be working.

I can manually "import" comments by clicking the import button, although it is very slow and freezes the site when it's importing.

But the automatic hourly import does nothing.
