   Hello, I'm looking for a way to get notified whenever someone leaves a facebook comment. Sometimes it is way down the blog and we don't want to ignore any one. Thanks.

   Second that, it seems possible as http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/facebook-comments-for-wordpress/ lists it as a feature.
   I don't want to switch comment plugins though.

   I also really really would love someone to figure a way to enable email notifications when people comment. I keep missing out on peoples comments which isn't great. I don't want to have to change plugins because i'm assuming i'll lose all the old comments.

   sorry, but i can't support this. although the other plugin does, it uses a lot more resource. my plugin is a lot more lightweight. however, notifications are all made within facebook.com on the top status bar.

   Hmm, definitely I don't get notifications in the Facebook bar from the comments app.
   Should I activate something there? Anybody with a clue?

   Found it myself:
   You seem to need the following code right in the header of every page. Easiest is to add it in the header.php at the end of the header.

   <meta property="fb:app_id" content="[APP_ID]">
   <meta property="fb:admins" content="[ADMIN_FACEBOOK_ID]"/>
   
   </head>

   Now, I'm getting notifications in Facebook for all comments and they link to the Comment Moderation Tool.

   It would be nice the plugin to add this automatically and the Admins Facebook IDs to be added in the settings page of the plugin

   Ah ok great. Did you receive notifications for all the comments that occur prior to adding this code? Or just notifications for comments received after you'd made this change?
