[Plugin: External Videos] Feature Request: specific author shortcode

    You can already use it for a specific author/channel only. It’s what you have to enter in the admin interface.

    I’m not clear about that. I’ve got two channels “coming in” to External Videos, and I’d like to be able to decide which of those channels to display in a given location.

    Is there a shortcode for this? For example, let’s say I get videos from “johnsmith” and “johndoe.” I may have a box on my site “Videos from John Smith” where I only want to show that channel, and a different place I want to show John Doe’s vids.

    I’m imagining something like [external-videos author=”johnsmith”] in one spot and [external-videos author=”johndoe”] in another.

    Does that make sense? 🙂

    Ah, I understand now. No, this feature doesn’t exist yet. Would need an extension to the shortcode codes.

    I was hoping for the same thing. I know, I know, it is free, don’t complain. But I have two different Channels with two different kinds of content. Each Channel needs to go onto a different page on my site. Wondering if there is any new info on this subject?
