did you put space on the event? your booking per event should be like this http://imageshare.web.id/images/vvbze44u4wajwydxtbyp.png
is your ticket available according to the ticket settings (e.g. start/end dates, min/max etc.)
It seems that there’s a few bugs, though I imagine they all stem from 1):
1) you have to enter a number of spaces for people to be able to register. The question mark next to spaces (shown in agelonwl’s screenshot) says that if you don’t enter anything then there is no space limit. However if you don’t enter anything, the error message is displayed when trying to register
2) The booking form shouldn’t come up when they can’t register
3) The error message should instead say something like “There are not enough spaces for you to register”.
Thanks for your help in identifying this issue guys.
We already added a fix for 2/3 in the dev, but will double check 1
We just had the same issue. No max space set means you see nothing but the comment box and Submit Booking and then the message:
You must request at least one space to book an event.
I set max to 20 now and it works
Expected: <empty> –> Allow Register until database flows over (due to integer size 😉 )
i can’t see angelo’s screenshot, but i think I removed those instructions for a reason when adding tickets in 4.x
the current fix is to add a limit, if you want to sell many tickets, put an over-optimistic limit 🙂
however at some point soon we’ll be adding an overall event space limit, where we could reintroduce this feature. atm it’d require some work to rejig events to figure out what to do when calculating available spaces (the algorigthms need a maximum atm)
