   Text currently appears below the Google Map. Is it possible to have the text wrap around it?

   Are you talking about wrapping text inside the map?

   please checkout the template file templates\placeholders\locationmap.php. Also, for additional info. http://wp-events-plugin.com/tutorials/modifying-event-location-google-maps/

   Or just outside the map? Settings > Formats/Layouts > Events Format > Default single event format

   I'm looking to wrap the text outside the map. The float:right attribute is in the code, but the text below is not wrapping. Is this perhaps a problem with my theme?

   can you paste a sample code or a sample link. Also, have you tried the settings @ Settings > Formats/Layouts?
