• I’ve managed to stumble my way to install EM but that’s about it.

From Settings/Pages/Event List/Archives to the page I want it to display on:
    1. Why don’t the 50 States appear?
    2. How can I move the States and Categories on to the same line?

Is it ok to ask for paid help here because I don’t understand the Documentation.

  • 1. It would only appear if you have an event on that states (and also you have to choose the country first)
    2. you can customize the events search template

    thanks but

    1. I don’t know how to Copy and Rename and there are no instructions.
    2. It says this:
Bear in mind that once you’ve found what you want to modify you should delete the other files (Delete WHAT other files?). This is because any future updates made to these other areas (What areas?)of the plugin won’t make it to your modified theme anymore.

Do you see why I need paid help?

actually, just added a new feature in last update, see Events > Settings > Formats/Templates tab of wp-admin for search options.

If you want to remove country and default to the US so your location states appear, choose the US as the ‘default location’ from the first section in the ‘general’ tab.

It IS set to United States.

We (someone else) are working on a drop down checkbox combobox (if that makes sense) as we want our readers to be able to select from the 50 states for their event.
