I'm noticing the same thing. Have you had any luck curing it?
o3fingers, if you haven't found an answer, hopefully this will help:
Using these placeholders for start and end time instead of the normal ones (on the settings page) solved it for me.
If you're wanting to do something like DATE-OF-EVENT at TIME you can use this code under Default Events List Format in your Settings:
#M #j, #Y at #_12HSTARTTIME
I had same problem after aktivating the plugin. But on Seetings Page, under "eventformat" -> "standarformat for eventpage" you have to use these placeholders:
#_24HSTARTTIME
#_24HENDTIME
