Events Manager
[resolved] RSS Feed specific for categories (9 posts)

I'm having an issue with rss feeds of categories. I have my full RSS feed no problem, but what I want to do is get an RSS feed for only certain categories. I've gone to the category page: calendary/category/CATEGORY-NAME/feed, but it gives me all the events, not by category.

Any thoughts on how to get this?

    Thanks!

    Allan

Perhaps because it doesn't include custom taxonomies?

http://mysite.com/news/feed/ works for me but that is because 'news' is a POST category not an EVENT category. If I stick an EVENT category in there like http://mysite.com/music/feed/ I get nothing.

@debsch if you have your event categories in the same permalink structure, you may/will run into conflicts (e.g. what happens if you have a music category in each).

i've been testing this out (default bp theme), and it works fine for me.. could it be something else preventing this happening e.g. your theme or another plugin?

I am having the same issue with my site. Has anyone figured this one out? Still searching for solutions. I am not a programmer nor web developer so this makes it more complicated for me.
