   I have the recurrence option enabled and after upgrading the plugin version to 5.0.42, the recurrence area is no longer showing when adding an event.
   Any help is very much appreciated.

   What do you mean by recurrence area is no longer showing? To add a recurring event Events > Recurring events > Add Recurring Event; this option is now separated from single event
