   hi,
   I've just updated to 3.0.96 and the process initially ran fine, however, when checking the changes the scheduled events weren't showing.
   I was unable to "approve" my set of recurring events in the admin area, was quoted a "database error" and saw a suggestion for similar update issues to re-activate.
   After de-activation the following error displays whenever attempting to activate.

   Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error

   Cannot proceed with installation, please upgrade to the version 3.0.96 from here first before upgrading to this version.

   (haven't been able to replicate the database error as i can't activate now and I hadn't saved the error on the initial).

   I'm running WP 3.1.1 on this site with major plugins being e-commerce, fidgetr and fm-vimeo-videowall.
