   My theme supports custom sidebars, when I create normal pages I have the option to select what sidebar to associate with that page. I've set events to display as Pages. How can I get the sidebar options panel to display when editing an Event?

   What theme are you using? I've written a helper plugin for Genesis themes that supports Genesis Simple Sidebars and Genesis Simple Menus.

   you may want to ask them about it as I haven't had the chance to use it and see how it works, I know the one I recommended works out the box.
