Events Manager
[resolved] Number-Based HTML Entities in 5.0.2 (3 posts)

After updating from Events Manager v5.0.1 to v5.0.2, I noticed that any events with number-based HTML entities get messed up on the single event page.

So for example, if a event description contains ampersand-hash-8212-semicolon (for an em dash), it gets rendered as just ampersand-semicolon.

I narrowed the problem down to the changes that were made to em-location.php in 5.0.2. When I roll this file back to the version that came with 5.0.1, those HTML entities render properly.

I think the Events Manager is trying to treat ampersand-hash-number-semicolon as if it were one of its placeholders.

I just updated to 5.0.3 and the bug is fixed in that version.
