  • Hi,

try using shortcode [events_list blog=x] and give us feedback.

btw, did you enable global events in EM network settings?

Yes global events was/is enabled. I will try with the shortcode tonight and let you know if that worked. Thanks !

The shortcode seems to work, and finding out these shortcodes solved another issue I had, great ! Thanks a bunch !

Here I am again, I cheered to soon :(.

I have the events showing up on all subsites, but the link to the events are wrong (#_EVENTLINK), they point to the index of the subsite.

Is it possible to make the link point to the event, if possible without leaving the subsite?

To be clear what i’m trying is to create the events on http://www.site.com, and to display them in http://www.site.com/en/, http://www.site.com/fr/, http://www.site.com/nl/.

It would be perfect if http://www.site.com/event_A shows up in the subsites as http://www.site.com/fr/event_A and share the same information and attendees…

Pulling my hairs out here, would love to hear good news from you 🙂

currently the only way it works is all events can be shwon on the main blog, but sub-blogs only show their own events. Will change this soon and add an option in the settings page of MS.

Would be amazing, thanks, looking forward to it !

Was this ever solved? I have the same issue. I want all events added to any site to be shown on all sites. I’m not having any luck thus far. Added the plugin, activated across the sites, added an event to one but it only shows on that one. Managed to get it to show them on some others using [events_list_grouped mode=”monthly” blog=x] BUT they don’t link to their own pages on each blog…

    Has this been solved?

    not yet

Ideal implementation for this would be to be able to post an event in a subsite, which would be only displayed in subsite, with an option to make it global, in which case it would be displayed in all subsites…

I see where it can be tricky though. Should the data be put in each subsite’s post tables? in main site post table? in a special table?

Perhaps when some events are posted in subsite1, and set as “global”, Events Manager on subsite2 could send notification that x numbers of events are set as global, giving opportunity to “import” them. A bit like the comments moderation queue. This way, it’s like double posting, but without having to double post! And could be most friendly with table structure?

Sorry, just noticed the table structure in the db:

Theres a column: blog_id, where the default 3 events have a value NULL.

And if you post events from a subsite, this column reflect blog’s ID.

So I suppose everything is ready in the plugin to make an event global, right?

Only thing is I can’t see anything on the Edit Event page that can control the value of that column…

    Hello Marcus,
Is this issue is solved ? I need it hardly.
