I am logged in as a subscriber (as a test account), and I’m clicking the link to manage my bookings. Even though I’m logged in, the page displays “You must log in to view and manage your events.”

When I’m logged in as an admin, the same page displays every event I have listed, along with admin controls.

I checked the user role settings in Events Manager, and subscribers are currently allowed to manage their bookings.

To surmise, it looks like admins can manage bookings on the front-end, but subscribers cannot. Not sure what’s happening here…

have you tried disabling your other plugins to see if it’s one of these? we use WP functions to check if a user is logged in, not sure there’s anythign we can do

I think I see the problem now. “Edit Events” was not checked under user roles. This leaves two outstanding issues, though.

First, once checked, the page shows that I’m not booked for any events – but I am. If I go to the calendar and click a date, that event says I’m already booked. But the My Bookings page says I have no events.

Secondly, we don’t want users adding events. How can I turn that off?

Finally, we are happy to go pro and purchase a license. But, my client is wary of spending funds unless we know this is working properly. These issues are currently causing problems as customers are not able to view and cancel their reservations to our events.

Please do let me know if there’s any insight you can provide in regards to my two issues above.

    Thank You!

FIXED! Turns out that I had the My Bookings page, Edit Events page, and Manage Bookings page in the settings all going to the same page. Once I selected NONE for Edit and Manage pages, users can now view and cancel their booked events.
