[Plugin: Events Manager] Link to full size featured image with #_EVENTIMAGE{x,y} ?

    What would be the HTML to use in the formatting for the Single Event Page so that the thumbnail links to the full size featured image? I tried using the #_EVENTIMAGE placeholder without the x and y parameter and the image is the full width of the div tag it’s in. Is there a way to link this image to the full size image?
