• How do I activiate another language?
I see a folder called langs and I have a .mo.po file in Dutch that look perfect. But the names are dbem-nl_NL.mo and dbem-nl_NL.po
My site config is in dutch (nl_NL)
Normally languages of plugins and themes are in a folder languages instead of langs and the names usually nl)NL.mo instead of dbem-nl_NL.mo.
So are the names of the folder and .mo file correct or should they be languages and nl_NL.mo ?

We’re working on updating the POT files for translation and will add a post soon so those willing to translate can do so. Keep your eyes posted on our site news over the next day or two.

Thanks, but file names remain the same? So I don’t have to change the names of the files?

Someone will have to translate the pot files again. I’ll be releasing some instructions and the POT file later today.

    Hi Marcus,

    Hi all!

Kicking this post back to life πŸ™‚

I’m trying to update the .po file with the POT bit my Mac wont let me πŸ™
It does not auto create a .mo file and I’m getting a lot of /var errors….

Is there someone who can provide me the latest dutch translation?
If necessary, I can provide the update POT file (I hope that will work).

    hi,

did you try to check the latest version 5.1.2 ?

    Plugin Author Marcus (aka @msykes)

    (@netweblogic)

latest translations are in the plugin latest version

The POT file is up to date but the translationfiles itself are not.

    Hi Harmen,

Read you posts and ran into the same “problems”

I am translating the updated po right now but there are quite some lines to go… Is it an idea to split up the work (exchange the po file after I have done half of the work) and ofcourse afterwards share the po and mo with the plugin builder.

am happy to include any translations once you do them, if you do collaborate between you and get back to me, would be appreciated!

check this page for more info – http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/translating/

Hi Richard, at the moment I’m too busy to sit for a while and translate to POT File…
When you think you’ve done your half send me the file and I’ll translate the remaining lines… Assuming you do the first “half” πŸ™‚

Ofcourse, collaborating with you Marcus. Such a nice plugin deserves the extra work of your users πŸ™‚

    Translation:
Hey Richard, als jij de eerste helft voor je rekening neemt en mij het geupdate bestand stuurt vertaal ik, zorda ik tijd heb ( komende weken te druk) de rest.

    Hi Harmen (and Marcus).

I wanted to get the job done because I have to finish the website that I want to use the plugin for.

So I managed to spend a few hours on translating the whole .PO.

Unfortunately even the ‘fuzzy’ lines needed rework. The comming days I will be checking my translations while using the plugin. After the weekend I can send you the .po and .mo

Finally finished translating the theme to Dutch although some lines on the settings page’s still remain in English?!

I have filled in the contact form to get details on how to get the PO file to the Event Manager team (as mentioned on the plugin website).

I assume the translated MO and PO wil be incorporated in the theme files soon.

hi Richard, I haven’t received your email, are you sure you filled out the right form?
