   Summary:
   I am receiving an error when I attempt to Insert New Events and receive a message "There was a problem saving the location so event was not saved.". I really think that this probably has to do with Conflicting plugins because of all of the testing I have done.

   History:
   I have been testing multiple event managers. Each time I deactivate the previous, and deleted it, before testing another. I finally decided on Event Manager (very good plugin), and then deactivated and deleted it so I could start clean.

   When I went to look at the database in PhpMyAdmin, and there were a lot of tables from previous plugins, including wp_em_ tables. I dropped all of them so that I could start clean again.

   I re-installed and activated Event Manager, but am not able to Insert New Events. I went to look at the database in PhpMyAdmin, I no longer see any wp_em_ tables.

   Does anyone have any suggestions on what I might be able to do to recover from this?

   hi,

   this was the line that throws the error message classes/em-event.php:

   //First let's save the location if location doesn't already exist, no location no event!
   		if ( empty($this->get_location()->id) && !$this->location->save() ){ //shouldn't try to save if location exists
   			$this->errors[] = __('There was a problem saving the location so event was not saved.', 'dbem');
   	 		return apply_filters('em_event_save', false, $this);
   		}

   Please try to check the location and deactivate other plugins or change to default theme (temporarily) to see if its a conflict. And also since you are installing a fresh EM then please also try to delete tables with prefix _em_ and in wp_options with option name dbem_*

   Please also check for any error log.

   chances are you need to remove the wp_options values, specifically dbem_version, which is what probably is preventing the tables from re-installing.
