Events Manager
[resolved] Importing Locations & Events (3 posts)

I swear last night while doing a test import of some data into the locations table it appeared to work.

I tried to do it again with more data and that's when things seemed to go nuts.

It appears that the db info for the locations is spread across 3 tables.

I read another post where it was stated that CSV would likely not work and saying it's been addressed before.

I haven't seen that thread on the forum so I'm curious as to exactly why it's likely not to work or if it's possible to get some of the data in and then manually edit it.

Is there a way to import events or locations info via ical/google cal/or any way at all?

If not I'm surprised this plugin and a few others I've looked at don't seem to have this feature.

After looking around and not being able to find a Bulk CSV Importer for the wonderful Events Manager wordpress plugin, I commissioned a coder to develop a Bulk CSV Import add-on that does not modify any core code files (so you can update wordpress and plugins freely). It is a very simple integration and clean and I tested it on my own site many times. The plugin saved me HOURS of manual entry time and cost when having to add hundreds of events to my site.
