Events Manager
[resolved] Hide "My Profile" Tab (4 posts)

    Hello, this is just a simple question. How do I hide the "My Profile" tab in the user profile, under Events? I've figured out how to hide the tab link itself by using

    #profile-personal-li {
    	display:none;
    }

    in style.css. However, clicking on "Events" in the user area still goes to the My Profile page. How do I make it automatically go to "Events I'm Attending" instead of "My Profile"?

    hi,

    you can do it this way

    1.
    In `events-manager/buddypress/bp-em-core.php at around line 85 change
    'default_subnav_slug' => 'profile' to 'default_subnav_slug' => 'attending'

    2. on your theme functions.php, add this snippet

    function my_remove_em_nav() {
    	bp_core_remove_subnav_item('events','profile');
    }
    add_action( 'bp_setup_nav', 'my_remove_em_nav' );

    Note: step 1 is not an upgrade proof you need to use buddypress or wp hooks/filters.

    Thanks so much, agelonwl! And with this I've learned to make other changes to my layout :)
