   I have the option to enter the start and end date while adding the event, however the single event list and sidebar list only display the start date.

   How to display both dates?
   E.g.: 15 Mar 11 - 20 Mar 11

   Also, in your case: you need to change the setting "single event formatting" to your liking by using any placeholders mentioned here:
   http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=25
   The same goes for all other formatting settings (event list, locations, etc ...). It needs some testing, but you'll get the hang of it.
