   With the plugin, when booking, I get an error username cannot be created because of a + in the email. mail+test@something.com

   Did you try to check the EM email settings under Settings > Email Settings ?

   is + a valid email character? (I know it's used in mailing list management for bounces, but not sure if it's ok for normal email accts)

   check if normal wp registration allows it, if not, it's out of my hands
