EM Performance level (4 posts)

Does anyone have an agenda with EM and more than a thousand of events? Can I have a good performance with that level of load? Probably we will have less than 5000 visitors per day.

I have seen some changes in EM to optimize the number of queries to MySQL and some articles too.

I will get a bad performance with high load?

We test with around that many. It works fine.

Of course, if you have single days with hundreds of events, you'll need a well speced hosting space, but your situation sounds fine.

Also, EM does work with W3TC

    Thanks Marcus.

I've readed now some of your comments in that benckmark :)
Can I ask what do you mean with "(I test with 1000s when possible) and that becomes a different ball-game"? Does that mean that performs better than other plugins?

Can you share some info about that? It's interesting stuff ;)

I haven't bench-marked myself yet, so I can't comment. I'm waiting to add optional 100% integration with WP_Query rather than our indexes (which I'm guessing will be slower), so will have to do some serious benchmarking then ;)
