Events Manager
[resolved] Display Placeholders content in Template (3 posts)

    Hi all,

    I am building a simple Events section for a none profit website and would like to display some Event Manager Placeholdes such as #_EVENTDATES in my single-event.php file. I read the Placeholder documentation (http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/placeholders/) but can't figure out how to simply display the event date with the #_EVENTDATES placeholder outside of the content section which is generated by the formatting options in the Event Manager settings.

    If you take a look at http://www.razistan.org/razadmin/events/book-signing-saul-leiters-retrospective/ you can see the #_EVENTDATES under the headline.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks much,
    Martin

    Thanks so much, that worked. I added

    <?php
    global $post;
    $EM_Event = em_get_event($post->ID, 'post_id');
    ?>

    to the template and then

    <?php echo $EM_Event->output('#_EVENTDATES'); ?>

    to output the Event Date.
