Let´s say we have 2 events:
Event1 starts at 8PM on day 1 and ends at 3AM on day 2.
Event2 starts at 10AM on day 2 and ends at 11AM on day 2.

The calendar shows one event on day 1 and one event on day 2 but if i click on day 2 it displays both Event1 and Event2. How do I make it display only Event2 on day 2?
I have tried setting "Are current events past events?" to both Yes and No but nothing changes.

if both the events are in the future, Are current events past events? won't have any effect.

if you're using the shortcode or widget, you could set long_events to false (or uncheck it in the widget). then events spanning more than one day will show the first day only.

to consider events going into the wee hours as the same day, there isn't an easy way of doing this, you'd have to modify the calendar template and filter out events that match your criteria via php

    OK.
Since I´m not any good with PHP I will do like this:
Set the end-time so the event places in the right date. Only use the start-time placeholder in the event list and use #_ATT{key} as end time.
