changing slug from 'locations' to 'events/locations' re (7 posts)

I have spanking new install of WP and Events Manager. I changed the permalink slug for Locations from the default of 'locations' to 'events/locations'. I resaved my WP permalink settings just to be safe. Now single location pages yield a 404 error. Please advise.

As does the Locations list page itself...

i get this too, will check this out. for the locations page, it may be that you have to make a locations page i.e. a wp page and assign it.

just checked this again, did you try removing the events/locations page?

It works fine for me if I do that

Well, yeah, but I need a physical Locations page as a navigation item. If I put Locations as a top level page rather than a child of Events, and change the slug to events... that works. But that's not what I wanted. I wanted Locations and Categories pages to be children of Events page.

Help... I have hopelessly destroyed it all. Every page (events-related and otherwise) now results in a 404 error. How can I fix the rewrites or whatever?

You could try the reset button (see settings page - tools)
