Events Manager
Can't set a custom static page title in single-event page (6 posts)

Hi, in the 4th version I set the single event page to have a static custom page title for every single event. This was made possible just customizing the plugin settings, without using a custom template.

Today I updated Events Manager to the 5th version and now every single event page has the event name as page title instead of my static customized title. I tried to restore previous settings changing them from the "Settings" panel but there is nothing to do! When I refresh an event page I have the same problem.

    How can I do?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Do you have any sample url? and if you can post the steps that you did which can help to easily determine if that is a bug or just need some settings adjustment?

Sorry, I post once again because there was an error in the link syntax in previous post.

    Hi,

    Yes I have:link

Instead of "Prova convegno" , which is the event's title, I'd like to have a static page title ("Eventi").

I set up the plugin settings disabling title rewriting and writing just the title I want (<h1>Eventi</h1>)in "Single event page title format" form, but nothing to do...

You'd have to modify your theme for that. E.g. create a single-event.php file in your theme copied from single.php and modify.

Sorry, I tried to modify the template following plugin's page instructions but I failed. Can you post an example of a single-event.php page with title customization?

    Thank you very much.
