    Hello,

I'd like to contribute to Event Manager, but there are some drawbacks in how version management is now done with Subversion. It would be much more elegant and easier to contribute if you source code was in git, so that I could fork it, develop, commit, test and send you pull requests.

Could you consider switching to git?

Here are some quality howtos describing how you can use git for development, and still publish to WP SVN repo:

it'd have to be SVN patches against the trunk, but they'd be welcome!

generally speaking, I recommend people add stuff using hooks/filters for us to incorporate, because most things can be done this way, and if for some reason it can't be added, you can still use it without hacking the plugin, and at worst it could be made into a tutorial/add-on
