[resolved] call to a member function get() error (3 posts)

After updating to version 5.1.4.3 I get the following error:

Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/b2bdjiv/public_html/wp-includes/query.php on line 27

This only occurs on the homepage. Archive page, and other custom templates work fine. Where do I look to find out what is wrong?

The error does not appear when disabling the plugin. Also tried disabling all other plugins and activating EM, which gives the error again.

I am using a modified Modern Clix theme.

It could be a theme conflict, try previewing it using Default Theme. Also, checkout this previous post http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-events-manager-crashes-includesqueryphp-get-non-object?replies=13

I reverted to an older version of EM. Will now update and change the $wp_query variable to $new_wp_query.

Also saw that before the new WP_Query($args) statement there was a $wp_query = null; Removed that code, and renamed the $wp_query variable.

Problem solved, thanks for your help agelonwl!
