   When I search in the WordPress Events Manager backend within my events for a certain keyword that is in the content of a event, there are no results. So it does not work. :-(

   I am currently having the same issue. Searching even for the title of an event I know exists returns no results.

   Another related thing: On the Event Categories and Event Tags page on the back end when I click on the number of posts to see all posts in that category, I get no results, even if the number is >0.

   there is a bug with searches (specifically posts in admin area), but it's not to do with results and will fix that soon.

   I'll double check the search, but I have used it various times and it worked for me before. Make sure you're searching the right scope though e.g. all events!

   I made sure of that, but there are still no results.

   The other strange thing ist, that in some cases there are other post types shown in the results (e.g. posts).

   i'd try disabling your other plugins then, it might be something else.

   Disabled all other plugins and still having same problem. No results being found. Likewise for clicking on the number of posts in a category.

   EDIT: I should also mention that everything is working like a charm on the front end, and this is a fantastic plugin, Marcus.

   I localized a problem I was having with backend searches to Event Manager (by dint of deactivating all plugins and reactivating one by one). The problem is described here (before I knew it was an EM issue). I resolved the issue by setting "Include in WordPress Searches?" = "yes"

   Well there we go! Thanks halifaxious. Problem fixed by going to Events > Settings > Event List/Archives > Include in WordPress Searches? -> Yes

    And what if I do not want the events included in my frontend search?

    that'll get fixed in next update. Backend searches should work regardless of that option.
