The plugin generated 3136 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.
Just to let you know. Didnt run into any problems yet, but I dont know where this came from. Clean WordPress install.

I've got this notice too - except I am noticing a problem. I can't add or manage events - only categories. The other links are missing from the admin menu.

Has anyone come up with a fix for this, I'm getting this issue too. Much obliged. :-)

I got the same message too...
I received the same message too. WP version 3.2.1
Debug mode shows that during activation of the Events plugin the following error line occurs 42 times:
PHP Warning: mysql_field_name(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/binvenbe/public_html/wp-test/wp-content/plugins/wp-events/wp-events-setup.php on line 64
Hopefully this helps the plugin author to bring out a fix quickly.
Until then I will deactivate and remove the plugin, rather be safe than sorry...
