• Hi, thank you so much for all your hard work on this plug in. I have 2 pretty urgent problems:

    1. everytime I log into the Events Calendar Dashboard, I get this error message in a small pink box on the left side, next to the Add Event title:

    ! Warning X
    message

that’s it. no suggestions of what to do, or what the warning is for, although when I click the box, it does go away. And, I wonder if this error is also the cause of my next problem:
    2. My calendar won’t go past August, and no longer uploads my data when I enter it.

sigh. Hope you can help. I’m using WP2.8.2, on FireFox3.5 on a MacBookPro.

    hopeful thanks,
    Terri

  • Hey Terri,

I’m having the same problem with the error box, but I think the plugin just needs to be updated as it doesn’t seem to effect me either.

As for your second problem, are you using the latest version of the plugin? Have you messed with the html a all? Try deavtivating the plugin and the reactivating it. If that doesn’t do the trick go into wp-content/plugins and delete the events calendar folder and try reinstalling it. Hopefully this is a simple issue that just requires a fix in the new version.

    Hi folks,

The warning message is just a place holder for the plugin validation. If it says “Message”, you don’t need to care. Normally, it should go out when you click on something.

As for the second problem, if you go and read the readme.txt file, you’ll see that the plugin was working with WP up to 2.6.1.

We are currently working on making it work with the 2.8.x series.

I did a bit of explanation in this thread : http://wordpress.org/support/topic/292773?replies=2, so you might want to go and read it.

    Sorry for the inconvenience,
    laplix
