   I just installed this plugin so far after many trials with other calendar plugins this is by far the best. But I just don't like its limited option to choose the category for the events when making it as a post. How can I choose this category, it seems it randomly picks the category.

   What do you mean randomly picks a category. The category is how it gets associated with the calendar.
