[resolved] Works In Latest Version But Not Quite Perfect (6 posts)

This plugin does work with the latest version of WP 3.4.x and support has been outstanding when contacting through the website, however it's not quite ready for prime time. It does a good job but I had to edit the CSS both in the style sheets and in the style in the php code. I'm not certain why all CSS isn't in the style sheets. There are a few minor glitches including the inability to use an apostrophe in the automated email messages. If you do this, you'll get multiple /'s in your messages. I got so many that the settings wouldn't update any longer until I found the issue and removed them. Some screens need work including the fees schedule to prevent buttons from being hidden. Enter one long fee title and you can't edit or delete fees without a lot of browser resizing off the screen. Install this if you want a plugin that has a great approach but needs work on following programming standards...and you don't mind diving into CSS edits with each update. This does have promise with some reworking of the code.

Sorry for lack of clear coding always. This was a work in progress. Started 4 years ago with no programming knowledge. Trying to clean things up as I go, but always more work. Would be happy for any suggestions.

Well I think you've done a great job overall. I like the approach you've taken.

    Here's a few suggestions...

Clean up the style sheets and move all styles into the style sheets. Let the template do the bulk of the styling.

    Multiple /'s fix

Fees schedule doesn't need that fancy box around it. A long name and you can't delete or edit any longer.

Have locations populate from a central locations table. It's not fun to have to type in a location twice. Add a site page for each location showing a map, description and populate it with the events taking place in that location.

Enough for now. I'm happy to share my revised css if you'd like it.
