[Plugin: Event Organiser] Venue field doesn't save when adding a new event

    First of all, thank you Stephen for this GREAT calendar plugin. Simple use, simple config, very complete functions and integration with WP custom posttypes etc so I can re-use my knowledge… And, very well documented plugin!
    Second of all sorry for my english…

    Not sure if my problem is the same than reported here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-event-organiser-venues-not-showing

    But the thing is:
    – I can add venues and they appear listed and saved correctly in the list
    But..
    – When I create a new event and fill all the fields, included the venue one, all the info is saved except for the venue, that remains blank. I can see this when I look in the events list, no one has a venue saved.

    WordPress version is 3.3.1 and plugin version the 1.3.2, it’s a new installation and I’m olnly using 3 o 4 plugins apart of Event Organiser… It’s very strange because all the rest of the things with the plugin seems to work correctly.

    ## Summary
    The root cause of this problem wasn’t found. The ‘quick edit’ worked, and venues could be saved that way. If others experience this problem I’ll be happy to help you debug it.

    ## On related problems.
    If you find the venue isn’t creating, check you are providing the venue with a name!

    If it’s telling you venues are saving but they don’t appear – look at the top right of the venue admin page – does it indicate the correct number of venues? If so, it is a collation issue – this seems to effect only a few people, and I’m not yet sure why. The problem is probably that the collation of the slug column of the *_eo_venues table is not the same as the slug column of the *_terms table. You should use phpmyadmin or similar to change the collation of the former to the latter (usually they should both be UTF8_general_ci).
