feature request: past/recent events widget
the upcoming events widget is, of course, super handy. but if there are no upcoming events it would be great to have that widget not display and instead have a separate widget for ‘recent events’. it could be one widget but i think two would be more flexible. if the ‘recent’ widget could be smart enough to hide itself if there are upcoming event that would be great.

two separate widgets would allow both to display at once.

another useful feature is that the ‘recent’ widget would only show event with a certain ‘featured’ category or tag. that would make it easy to highlight the most important events that are not ‘upcoming’.

another useful widget would be ‘today’s events’.

making all widgets usable in more than one area would be very helpful to me too.

i am happy to chip in to pay for new features on this great plugin. thanks to alex for all the hard work put into this one.
