Read the Going Live info (http://quirm.net/wiki/eshop/setting-up-using-eshop/going-live/) about eShop but did not see anywhere to actually switch from test mode to live mode. Saw a post that mentioned it was in Settings > eShop > General... but I don't see it anywhere.
Available categories on that settings page are:
Business Details
Product Options
Product Details
Display Options
Cart Options
Checkout Options
I would love to go live and start actually using eShop... but no dice. Help? I can provide screenshots if you'd like (not sure how to post them in this forum though).

And, as with every shopping cart I try, I work on it for at least a day and then discover a deal-breaker.
Apparently you have to use WP posts for your product pages, not WP pages? But, my site has a blog too. And the blog uses posts. I don't want my products showing up on my blog.
Is there perhaps a way to prohibit a particular post from going onto the blog?
1. Switch back to two columns (if you haven't already) via Screen Options on the Settings -> eShop -> General page
2. Empty your browser cache
3. Close your browser then re-open it.
4. Try a different browser.
5. Try a different machine
This is a known issue with WordPress 3.3 & some browsers. If you continue to have problems despite carrying out all of these steps, try installing & activating
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/use-google-libraries/ to force a true browser flush.

No - you can use Posts and/or Pages.

Thanks for the help. I'll go try that today. I'm actually going to give my computer a much-needed restart during the process too. haha
So is there a shortcode I'm supposed to use to display the products on the pages? See when I went to do it, it asked for a category name. But categories are only available to posts, right? I'm pretty new to WP so there's probably something I'm missing here. Thanks for your help!

Yeah I looked at that page. But I couldn't figure out which one I could use to call up pages and not posts. They all work with "categories" which you don't have with pages, right?

And you can't tag pages either, can you?
WordPress has a larger learning curve than I'm used to. I'm good with gooey stuff, and WP is gooey enough that I thought I would instantly get everything. But going from an average looking site to a great looking site that functions well is REALLY hard for me.

Yeah I have that list from the website. Just not sure which of those would let me call up a list of all my products (or a section of my products) without me having to type in specific product numbers or needing to insert tags or categories into the shortcode. Because tags and categories are only aspects of posts. And my products are pages.
Does that make sense? Esmi, I feel like we're mis-communicating a bit. Let me know if I need to clarify more. I'll try my best.
If your products are Pages, make them all children of a parent Shop page. Then use [eshop_list_subpages].

I'm back....
I fixed the products issue using the subpages shortcode that Esmi suggested (thanks!!).
But I still can't go live. I've tried Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. None of these give me an option in Settings > eShop > General to go "live" or be in test mode or anything. But I am definitely in test mode, it says so in a banner on my admin page and also when I go through the checkout process.
Where is this "go live" button supposed to be? What does it look like? Why might I not be able to find it in any of the eShop pages in my admin area, despite using multiple browsers?
It is on the settings page, if it is not there, please look at using a plugin to use a Different JQuery version. I believe there is one that uses Google's version.

Hmm... read through the link. Thanks, Rich. Not sure if I need that....
Wondering if restarting my computer (ie closing all my browsers down) would give it a chance to fix?

So I used a completely different computer and the problem persisted. It's an issue on:
Mac - Chrome
Mac - Firefox
Windows - Firefox
Windows - IE
Is there a file I can access in FTP and just change something in there.... likely just changing a 0 to a 1 or something.....? I mean, it should be a simple fix if I can figure out where it is. Just a switch to flip.
I'm trying to launch today and can't do it if I can't get out of test mode. haha. Thanks!!
