   Hi,
   I want to display the total number of items that user has added to his/her cart on the static home page of my blog.
   On my home page I want to display

   Cart: X items. It should be very simple but I have no clue. Notice that I am using a static front page. I am testing my website on localserver and it's new so no links yet sorry.

   is this static front page past of WordPress? if you create a widgetable area then you could use a widget, which is probably the easiest method.

   No it is static front page on my wordpress blog and uses a custom built wordpress theme. So I can't use widget. Can you give me any other solution?

   Not unless your theme has a widget-aware front page.

   Okay thanks. It is impossible for me to add widgets as I have done all the development. You can close the thread now.
