  • Hi, Doctor Micro… Did you ever resove this issue? This plugin looks to be a real “answer to prayers”, but I just can’t get it working at all. Did you find a way around this, or an alternative way to achieve the same results? Thanks…

    Hey guys.

I’d like to know more about your issues. I’ve just tested the plugin with 3.3.2 and 3.4 and it works fine on my installations. Therefore I’d like to see a more detailed error report from you – exactly what happens?

I’m interested in learning about this as well.

Yes we are having real difficulty with this plugin.

Lets say we have the picture winter.jpg in use on our website and we want to replace it with spring.jpg. This is what happens:

When we select the option to “just Replace the File”, the image is immediately changed in the Media Library, but if we open a post that had the image embedded in it, the image link is broken.

If we click the icon to insert the image into the post and select our newly edited image, as soon as we click the button to embed it in the post the original image (that we replaced) appears!

When we select the option to “replace the file, use file name and update links” the embedded image in the article is updated on the live site, but then as soon as we open the post to edit, the old image is there.
