   I use jwplayer and sometimes flowplayer to embed rtmp videos on my website. Is there any way to use this plugin with self hosted videos?

   The current version 1.10 of Embed Share only supports oembed video's, not self hosted video's. You can find a full list of sites here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds.

   I will write down your suggested feature of making it compatible for self hosted video's and I will keep you posted about the possibility to implement this.

   If taking feature requests, consider the addition of rtmp streaming with the player. Both jw and flow have great examples of using rtmp servers with html psuedo streaming fallback.
