   I have been looking for a plugin like this for a LONG time.
   Thank you!!!!

   I'm wondering if there is any way to set it up so
   that when people click on the urls that a new window opens up
   and they are not taken off our site?

   Same here, I'd like the linked sites to open in a new window. I changed the file 'shortcodes.php' accordingly, it now reads

   <li><a class='post' href='$link' title='$desc' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>$title</a>{$date}{$summary}{$author}</li>

   But WordPress says this file is 'inactive'.

   Where to change that?

   Hm... a day later it works and the links open in a new window ;-)

   Maybe a cache issue...
