[Plugin: Email Before Download] Plugin slows page generation\loading

    Hi all!
    I’m using Email Before Download plugin together with Download Monitor and Contact Form to let user download file after they have given me there email.
    But I found out that Email Before Download plugin slows down page loading time.

    Due to Plugin Performance Profiler it takes 72% of total page load time for EmailBeforeDownload (about 9 seconds).

    This is terribly long.

    Dose anyone has any suggestions on how can I fix this? Or what could be the reason for this behavior?
