Inline link not displaying (11 posts)

It seems like the inline link not displaying is different between every site, so here's my version of this same issue.

I've checked that wp_footer is there and I've disabled all of my plugins and still it's not working

Here is the url of the form: http://bigskyassociates.com/2011/08/white-paper-product-development-forecasting/
    and here is the shortcode we're using: [email-download download_id="2" contact_form_id="1835" format="1" autop="false"]

From what I can tell from other forum posts it seems like the ajax is not processing correctly (the page is reloading and you get a #wpcf7-f1835-p1848-o1 at the end of the url after submitting)

But I can't figure out what is breaking it. Maybe some javascript in the active theme? (We're using Presenter WP)

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi jccone,

Thanks for the interest in our plugin. From what we can see on the page you provided, AJAX is not working. Can you please make sure you have the following in your footer.php file:

    <?php wp_footer(); ?>

Yes it's definitely there. And I figured it was an issue with ajax. I think I've narrowed it down to the theme itself, but just can't find it.

    Hi jccone,

We installed this theme and before activating it created a simple test post.

It worked fine until the new form was activated. The behavior was the same as at your site. After a little research, we found that the generated output had some additional tags. We opened the WP post editor, cut the entire post, pasted it into a text editor (Notepad), then copied this text and moved it back to the post editor, then saved. After this, the form started working as expected.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi RensD,
We never state in our messages that jccone should edit any file.
In our example we described what we did with the post on which our plugin stopped working when we activated mentioned by jccone theme.
So, we edited the post only.

mandsconsulting - I tried what you suggested and it didn't work. I even created a brand new post and typed in the shortcode manually, but still no go.

Just so I understand you were talking about the actual post that the shortcode was located on right, not the contact form 7 code or anything else?

    I appreciate the help

    Hi jccone,
Yes, Contact Form 7 shortcode, placed into the same, distorted post stopped working.

    I'm sorry I misunderstood.
But than my question remains: How do I get the download link after filling out the form to work?
