[Plugin: Email Alerts] Feature Request

First I would like to say that this plugin is great! I looked for something exactly like this and had a difficult time finding it, but I am so glad i did. So, I thought I should share some ideas I had.

I feel that the ability to be more selective on what posts would be nice. Pick from a list of authors, tags, categories, etc that you would like to receive post notifications for.

Another idea is allowing the emails to be customized from subject to body using something like %foo% variables.
