   Would it be possible to extend the plugin such that it (optionally) also sends notifications to editors?

   Reason: In a multiuser blog I'd like to restrict the role administrator to the technical tasks and let the tasks related to the bloh contents do by people with the role editor (no bothering them with the many technical itemns in the dashboard).

   I just found that you can manually select wether a user with the role editor does receive notifications. At the end of the user settings for editors you will find a section Notifications with the following items to be selected:

   Post notifications
     Notify me when posts are published
     Notify me when posts require review
   Comment notifications
     Notify me when comments are held for moderation
     Notify me when comments are approved onto the site

   Hmm, I have this activated and am able to select/activate notifications for posts and comments (as illustrated above).

   But the notification emails don't seem to be actually going out. I have them activated for 2 users, including myself, and neither of us is receiving the notifications in WP 3.4.2.

   Is this plugin currently working for other people? I'm wondering if something else on our system (akismet, other plugins) is suppressing this.

   I am in the same boat as devrap.

   I also tried the user settings:

   Comment Email Notification
   [ ] Receive email notification of comments to all posts, regardless of post author

   But it did not send an email notification to the Editor when a comments has submitted for moderation.

   I have upgraded to version Version 2.2.1 and now I am not receiving email notifications at all (i.e. me asAdministrator and as another persona as an Editor).

   This is what I did after activating plugin:

   In WP Settings > Discussion:
   - Email me whenever:
   -- [tick] Anyone posts a comment
   -- [tick] A comment is held for moderation
   - cbnet Multi-Author settings:
   -- User Roles
   ----[tick] Send comment notification emails to all Editors
   --Miscelaneous
   [----tick] Send notification emails for comments from registered users
   ----[tick] Send notification emails for comments held in moderation

   Users:
   Select each User and edit:
   - Comment Email Notification:
   -- [tick] Receive email notification of comments to all posts, regardless of post author
   Update user (send invite by email)
