Hey Dudh, the 2.0 Eg Series' version is not working at all. It doesn't save the backend options selected by the user. And it generates the following error:
Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in /home/paizcl/public_html/vidaoutdoor.com/wp-content/plugins/eg-series/inc/eg-series-core.inc.php on line 417
Why did the plugin's author released an unfinished version?
And more important: where can I find the previous working version?

The best thing you can do is uninstall version 2.0 and re-install version 1.4.4 from here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/eg-series/download/
All your series are there. The new version doesn't recognize them, but the older one does.
I did reinstall the 1.4.4 version and everything is fine again.
EG Series is a great plugin. And as long as I saw when installed it, it seems that version 2.0 will rock.. when it's really ready.

Thanks, and yes this works...
I also like it very much and 1.4.4 works pretty fine for. I hope that these thinks could be finished and make an update possible.

Hi, the solution was very simple. Deactivate and activate the plugin and the update routine was there...

That helped me very much, too. My series are almost back to normal. The only problem is that all my series have been grouped together into one enormous list! I used to have one series of 30 posts and another of 13 posts, quite separate. Today I have 43 post in one column!.
I need to clean things up manually, I think. There are remnants of code left from when I was using version 2.0, so I will do a little housekeeping, before I come back.
It's a great plugin. :)
