    for some reason I cannot edit ANY plugins pages on the plugin -editor pages, it just says at the bottom ‘If this were writable you could edit it’ what am I doing wrong??

    (1) FTP into your plugins directory. (2) Change permissions on the directory (or possibly on individual files) so that they are writable. CHMOD 777 would do the trick, but is more permissive than is probably necessary.

    yeah, CHMOD to 666 will do it and is enough.

    oh yeah! forgot to say! while editing your plugins online, be careful! if something crashes (your main page shows white and you can’t log in or something) don’t alarm! Just access via ftp to the plug-ins folder and removed the plugin manually, then refresh your browser and all’s gonna be fine. (it has happenned me thousands >o>!)
