I've read through the forums and the Edit Flow website and I haven't found any reference to this problem, so I'm possibly missing something.
I have 128 users. 76 of them are only Subscribers, so I wouldn't expect them to show up, but the other 52 should be available.
I only have 48 users available to add to Usergroups. I can't figure out why certain users aren't available. Any ideas?

Still having this problem, and do you have any more symptoms?
What version of Edit Flow and WordPress are you running, and what other plugins do you have installed?
Thanks,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Yes, I am still seeing this problem. Everything else seems to be working swimmingly, so no other symptoms. Using WP 3.1 with Edit Flow 0.6.2.
Complete list of plug-ins:
addthis
admin-bar-disabler
advanced-author-exposed
akismet
anywhere
clicky
contact-form-7
edit-flow
feedburner_feedsmith_plugin_2_3
google-sitemap-generator
members
optimize-db
organize-series
query-posts
restrict-categories
shadowbox-js
sitemap-generator
spiurl
subscribe-to-comments-reloaded
thesis-openhook
thumbnail-for-excerpts
tinymce-advanced
wordpress-popular-posts
wp-security-scan
Thanks for the quick response. Two more questions:
- Have you modified any user capabilities with Members?
- Does the problem persist when you deactivate all plugins except for Edit Flow?

I have modified some user capabilities. Matter of fact, the one person I know is missing is someone with a non-standard set of capabilities. I'll switch them to a default role and see what happens.
Unfortunately, I really can't try deactivating all the plugins. If I do, the site will basically explode. It's a small site, but we have readers all over the world, so there are people on it pretty much 24/7. I use Get Clicky though, so I can see when the site is in use. I could watch for it to be inactive and deactivate any of the ones that don't affect the formatting. (For example, I can't deactivate Query Posts, because my home page would go blank.)

hmmm... Interesting. I changed the known problem user to Administrator and they showed up as available in Usergroups. I changed them back to their custom role and they STILL showed up. Now I'm only missing three users. I'm not sure which ones they are though. I'll have to figure out who they are and then see if that same workaround fixes them as well!
Edit Flow uses the "get_editable_users" method to list users for a usergroup. I suspect your editing of capabilities removed the users' status as an official editable user. Changing them to administrator and back is resetting their capabilities. I'll continue digging.

THAT FIXES IT! I located another missing user, changed them to Administrator, and then changed them back to their custom role (a different custom role than the first user, btw) and now they show up. It definitely works as a workaround for now. :)

If it helps in your research at all... I just found a third user, changed them to Subscriber and then back to their custom role and they are appearing now as well. Apparently, changing them to any default role and back fixes the problem.
Odd. Which capabilities did you edit originally?

The affected users are in completely new roles that I created - Section Editor and Asst Administrator. Would it help if I listed their capabilities for you?
Yes, it would, if just for future reference. Thanks!
