We are using the edit flow plugin and love the functionality it provides. However, we have two questions coming up at the moment.

    1. Is it possible to edit the content of the notification emails to include other fields, without overriding core code?

    2. Is it correct that the preview url in the notification should only work if the person who clicks it is already logged in to wordpress? Currently if not logged in it returns a 'you do not have permission to view drafts' response. If being logged in is currently required, are there any options we could look at for implementing anonymous previews?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

Great to hear! Thanks for the post. To answer your questions:

    1. Is it possible to edit the content of the notification emails to include other fields, without overriding core code?

Not at the moment. It's on our roadmap though.

    2. Is it correct that the preview url in the notification should only work if the person who clicks it is already logged in to wordpress? Currently if not logged in it returns a 'you do not have permission to view drafts' response. If being logged in is currently required, are there any options we could look at for implementing anonymous previews?

Yes, the viewer will need to be logged in and have the appropriate user capability in order to view the draft. We like the idea though, hopefully coming soon :)
