   I have WordPress 2.9 so this plugin is not available to me yet and therefore I can't try it to answer my question myself...

   How does this plugin send the SMS messages. Does it connect (via internet) to one or more SMS centres.

   Who actually pays for the sent SMS - the sender or the recipient?

   What is the typical cost per mesage in the UK?

   SMS is probably sent via email, so only the recipient is 'charged.'
