[Plugin: EasySMS] Remove sidebar widget after someone subscribes (5 posts)

I'm seeking help in implementing a feature on easySMS. I would like to remove the sidebar widget after someone subscribes. This way only those who have not subscribed see the sidebar widget.

Is this something that can be done easily? Thanks for any help.

So the question is how do you tell if someone is 'subcribed'? If you can assume that the user can login then they are 'subscribed' might consider using the Widget Logic plugin with the if ( is_user_logged_in() ) construct.

    MichaelH,

That's funny you mention that. I just installed that plugin to show the widget when someone logins. Users don't need to subscribe to EasySMS to be part of the site, and we only want to offer EasySMS sign up to users, not just anyone. That's why this is a unique situation.

Let me ask you. Is there a way to make it automatically signs people up for EasySMS when they register for the site? That would be ideal.

Thanks for the quick update besides. I appreciate it.

Sorry--you may need to wait for the plugin author to answer that question.
